Luton Borough Council

Luton Borough Council’s pest control department deliver a fully integrated pest control service to the 214,000 residents of the town across 19 mainly urban wards. The team are fully qualified to RSPH Level 2 and BASIS PROMPT registered for CPD. 

Lifetime Achievement Award

John Davison

National Pest Technicians Association founding member, previous chief executive, and chairman of the board of directors, John Davison has devoted more than 40 years to the pest industry; and still plays a pivotal role in the planning and running of the NPTA’s PestTech exhibition! 

Cleankill Pest Control

Cleankill Pest Control offers eradication and preventative services for all public health pests, including rates, mice, wasps, cockroaches, squirrels, fleas, bed bugs, and pest birds. As a registered waste carrier, Cleankill also removes pigeon debris and other waste, and is a Gold Investors in People accredited organisation.

Gemma Sutherland 

Pest Solutions

Gemma Sutherland joined Pest Solutions in January 2021 as a graduate service technician. She achieve a strong core in the RSPH Level 2 Award after six months, and sat the BPCA Certified Advanced Technician (CAT) exam last autumn. Recently she was promoted to service manager of the business and is currently preparing to sit the BPCA Certified Field Biologist exam.

Integrum Services

Integrum was founded in 2017. The company focuses on delivering domestic and commercial pest and bird management across the UK. Originally beginning with 2 staff, the business now employs a team of 13 and is on the search for more pest management professionals to join. 

Mozzymak Pest Control

Lincolnshire-based Jo Cooke-Symak set up Mozzymak Pest Control in August 2019, having previously worked for a pest control company. She set up her business thinking it would be small scale, but “it literally took off.” Looking ahead, Jo would like to offer bird work. 

Landmark Wildlife Services

Landmark Wildlife Services is a standalone specialist division within Vergo Pest Management. The division specialises in wildlife control, without the use of poisons, gasses, glue boards or any type of pesticide. 

Karen Brett

John O’Connor (Grounds Maintenance)

Karen Brett is the pest control manager at John O’Conner (Grounds Maintenance). Having joined 8 years ago in an admin role, she became interested in reading the reports and then passed the RSPH Level Two exam in November 2018. She is looking to complete her Level Three.

Elaine Bliss

PestFix

Elaine Bliss is technical sales and trainer at PestFix, where she has worked for seven years. Elaine has the RPSH Level Three Award, and has curated a wide range of training courses that are designed with practical content to better train new and improving members of the industry. 

Joe Strong

Beaver Pest Control

Joe Strong started working for Beaver in January 2016, and four months later joined the bird team. He is now the division manager for pest exclusion and drainage.
